Whether you are looking for a home directly on the beach, an intra-coastal home with great boating and sunset views, a home with dockage, or maybe a home that offers all three of these options, South Florida is the place for you! Here in South Florida there are many communities built around and along lakes, canals, rivers, the intra-coastal and the ocean. Many of the canals lead all the way to the ocean, however, fixed bridges, canal widths and depths will restrict the size of boat.

These homes come in all price ranges from condos to mansions and many of them are part of a larger community which is governed either by a co-op, a condo or homeowners association. Most of these communities offer many amenities including a pool, gym and a clubhouse with meeting and game rooms.

Some homes are across the road from the beach with beach access and may or may not be on the intra-coastal. Some of those that are on the intra-coastal also offer dockage.

It is possible that you would just like to have views of a beautiful lake and don’t really care about beach or boating activities. Well, South Florida has many of these homes too!

Then we have homes on canals that are inland from the beach and may or may not have beach access.

Working mainly from referrals means that I am not tied to any one community. As a result of the different requirements of my family of clients, I have gotten to know many areas of Palm Beach and Broward counties and have become quite knowledgeable about oceanfront and intra-coastal condos especially from the north end of Fort Lauderdale all the way up to Jupiter.

Here is a sampling of some of these communities:
